Meijer always doubles up to $.50.
When they triple in this area, they also have a huge storebrand sale.  How many storebrand coupons do you have?  HAHA

Kroger always double up to $.50
Once in a blue moon they triple and it's the same kind of sale.

Foodtown always doubles up to $.50
When they do it, they always put Spartan brands on sale.  Anybody ever seen a Spartan brand coupon?

Farmer Jacks always double's up to $.50
These guys are the most expensive in town, but at least twice a year when they triple they have regular items on sale and you can clean house.

Does any body know where to get the coupons for pop?  I hear about people having them and can never seem to find them.  Pop is terrible to buy here because we have that deposit to pay.

My luck is when they have those extra hang tags on the soda.  But beyond that I have seen when they put out new pop- like sierra mist went up- and then sometimes one of those stick on coupons on chip bags.  Like buy one of these and get this free or whatever.  So systematic?  Not that I can tell

I rarely see coupons for soda.

If you check the drug store flyers, they sometimes offer rebates which make four cases available for a final cost of $5.00. That's half of my best price, which is $10.00 for four boxes of soft drinks.

Also, this week, if you drink Diet Rite or any of that family of soft drinks, Kroger is having a sale--FIVE boxes for $10.00. I've never, ever seen that before. I sent my Dad yesterday (senior day--10% discount) for 20 boxes. That worked out to 5 boxes for $9.00. I was feeling pretty smug! LOL

Hope this helps.

Lately, we've had tons of 5/$10 sales on coke products... I've definitely been stocking up.

What stores, Rebecca? This week was the first and only time I've ever seen them in my area. In fact, the "sale prices" have been creeping up: 3 for $8, etc.

Across the board, except for loss-leaders, I've noticed a 10% hike in the "sale prices" and at Aldi in our area. That translates to about 20% increase overall. (I'm sure the truth is obfuscated in the govt. reports!) So, now, I stock up on loss leaders like I'm stocking a bunker.

We've had them at Kroger, HEB, and also Albertsons I believe (when one does it, the others seem to follow). They did this a lot last summer also, but the prices creep up during the winter. I really should stock up on a ton this summer, but we live in a little apartment, and our coke pile is already too large for our kitchen!

Thanks Rebecca. Of those stores, the only one in our area is Kroger, and this is the first time that they've offered soda at that price. They do not run national ads. They're all done by district. Maybe they're experimenting now, but Eckerd and Walgreen's had wonderful rebates last month, making the final cost $5 for four boxes. I couldn't believe my eyes.

Hi,

Just started with Coupon Clippers today but wanted to contribute.  King Kullen grocery stores on Long Island, NY double coupons up to $1.00 all the time.

After reading on here and another couple places that Meijer doubles (and that is where I do almost all my grocery shopping) I called them to ask. The corporate says "yes" they do. The store said "NO" very rudely to me. They also do not accept internet generated coupons.

I called every grocery store around and this was the result on doubling:

Meijer: No
Dominick's: No
Jewel-Osco: No
Food-for-less (Kroger): No

Does anyone know of ANY store in the Chicago Suburbs that does double?

Wow Aurora, down here in KY....our Meijer doubles coupons up to .99 everyday with a limit of 2 of the same coupons per transaction.  Every once in awhile they run a triple on coupons up to .50.  That is VERY odd that the policy isn't the same everywhere---especially since Meijer is only in 5 states!!!

The no internet coupons has always been the case around here---no one takes them.  But I'd call the corporate office of Meijer and ask WHY the stores in your area do not double/triple etc.  Maybe the manager isn't doing as he's supposed to.  But, I'm not famliar with your area to tell you any stores that DO double.  Best of luck!
