Okay, I have a technical question on the use of coupons. Here is my example:

I have a coupon that states if I buy frozen potato product, then I get a certain brand ketchup free.

I also found in the store, a blinkie that gives $.55/1 of that brand of ketchup.

So, can I use both or not?
I don't want to cheat, so thought I would ask.
Thanks!

Yup! Those are some of my favorite kinds of deals.

Yesterday at HEB, I brought some $1.50/2 Hidden Valley Ranch coupons I'd bought from TCC (my husband will only eat this kind, and he goes through it like crazy). Well, I happened to find in store coupons where if you buy a bottle of the dressing, you get a packet of dressing for free. So I was able to combine the coupons for extra savings.

I don't think you can use the blinkie coupon on the ketchup, as you are going to get it for free, with the purchase of the frozen potatoe product.  But a really good deal would be to find a coupon for the potatoe product, probably ore-ida, I remember seeing that coupon recently.  hope that helps!! :)

This can be accomplished if you know how the stores register works.

A lot of it also depends on the cashiers. I would say that YMMV.. which means, Your mileage may vary... no one really knows what will happen. THat sounds very iffy, but that's exactly how I feel most of the time when walking up to the register with these types of questions.
